Local Highlights:
Marblehead - Fall in New England
is always an exceptionally pretty time. Marblehead
is the “Yachting Capital of America” and
is an art and cultural mecca of the North Shore. The historic
downtown area has some of the finest examples of Georgian architecture
in America. The town is nestled on a beautiful harbor filled
with all sizes of boats protected by the Marblehead Lighthouse.
There are many art galleries, antique shops, restaurants, yacht
clubs, winding streets to walk along and discover the charming
beauty of Old Marblehead. Make time to stop at one of the local
spots for a cup of “chowda.” For further information,
accommodations, etc. please visit: www.visitMarblehead.com.
Salem - The bewitching city
of Salem, Massachusetts is right next door to Marblehead. Perhaps
primarily known as the location of the infamous Salem Witchcraft
trials of 1692, Salem is also home to the world class Peabody
Essex Museum, stunning early American architectural treasures,
old ships captain’s mansions, the Schooner Fame, House
of Seven Gables, shops, restaurants and lots of history. For
